Everyone has a name…

Here are the names I can say:

Daddy = Daddy

Nicholas = Nicholas or Hi Dog

Thatcher = Thatcher

Mummy = Turtle

Mummy is not super excited that I called her a Turtle, but she loves that I said my own name tonight!

Talking aside I had a fun day.  In the morning, I went to the gym with Mummy.  I had so much fun playing with all the cool, new toys while Mummy worked out.  Mummy was worried that I’d be clingy or fussy, but I wasn’t at all.  I just dove right into the toys and when she came back down to pick me up an hour later I didn’t want to leave.  I showed her all the cool toys until she finally brought me back home.

I took a nap and when I woke up I got to do some art – I love art!!  It is my favorite thing at school.  We used some green paint but when it got too messy we switched to crayons.  While I still mostly want to eat them I am starting to draw some with them too.  I sat still at my table for a very long time while I played with the crayons 🙂

After my nap Mummy took me to the mall to play in the play area.  Daddy met us there which was great!  I ran all over, climbed on and crawled through the fun things there.  I was pretty tired so we only played for about 30 minutes before we walked around the mall a little bit then went home.  I fell asleep in the car.

Here is a video of me bouncing on my new turtle.  Mummy though the video was appropriate since when she asked me to say Mummy this morning i kept saying Turtle!  I said Daddy, Nicholas and Thatcher correctly though, LOL

Brunch, a Playdate, then Latin Food in Boulder

I didn’t eat a single thing at home today!!

Hmmmmm, it all looks so good!

Mummy and Daddy took me to brunch at The Huckleberry this morning.  I had my own huckleberry pancake but ate most of Mummy’s eggs.  Whatever is on here plate is always more yummy than what is on mine.  Even if it is the same thing!  I had fun chatting and flirting with two older sisters from Georgia who were just lovely and made Mummy and Daddy miss the South.

When I woke up from my morning nap I took a walk over to our neighbor Miss Wanda.  I sure will miss her loads and loads when she moved to Oregon.  Her house was on the market for only three days and it is already sold!!!  She will be gone by July 1 😦  Daddy stayed to chat longer than I did because Mummy had to get me in the car so we could go see Miss Celia and Miss Elena.  It had been way too long since we had played!!

I'll have the pancakes!

Miss Elena gets prettier each time I see her and her hair is in these adorable pigtails now!  I had loads of fun playing with every single one of her toys, or so it seemed to Mummy and Miss Celia.  Elena has an awesome “fleet” of things on wheels that I rode, pushed and pulled all over the place.  We took a little break from playing to have some lunch.  Mummy made a pasta salad and I had some of that but my favorite were the berries that Miss Celia had – YUMMMM!!  After lunch we played more and I had fun sneaking off to go up the stairs.  I never went more than a few steps up though.  What I really wanted was for Mummy to chase me.  I hope we get together again soon – good times!!

After my second nap we played at my house for a little while then got back in the car.  We ended up in Boulder on Pearl Street.  There were tons of people and lots of tents.  There is a giant race soon, the Bolder Boulder.  Mummy wants to do it next year when she is a little faster.  I watched a man play a didgeridoo while Mummy got new black sandals for her new project in Florida.  Daddy and I are going to go Florida for a whole week soon to visit her and have a vacation.  Mummy will have to work during the days but we’ll have fun before and after work and on the weekend.

Mmmmmmm, I love OJ!

After Mummy got shoes we walked all the way down Pearl St. and had dinner at a Latin restaurant.  It was yummy and I had more fun watching people and flirting.  Our waitress had a crush on me 😉  Even though it was getting late, I was a trooper right until the end.  Mummy and Daddy were surprised that I did not fall asleep in the car.  I did go right to bed when we got home though.

Mummy forgot her camera at Miss Celia’s house so the only photos from today are a few from The Huckleberry 😦

Water is FUN!!

Woo Hoo – water is awesome!!

One the way home from the bike store where we got (well, ordered) a new bike trailer for Mummy to pull me around in on her bike we stopped at the park.  Mummy and Daddy were not prepared for the water that I immediately got into.  Mummy stripped me down to my diaper (no, not a swim one), slathered on sunscreen and let me at it!

I had soooo much fun stomping and splashing and drinking the water.  Here are some photos:

Relaxing Sunday

Sunday is one of my favorite days of the week.  No plans, nothing in particular we had to do and a great day for catching up on some zzzzzzzzzs 🙂

I had a nice morning with Daddy while Mummy slept in.  She was up at 2 am and couldn’t get back to sleep and was very tired.  Daddy made me breakfast and I played, just the boys, until my first nap.  I took a nice, long two hour nap.  Mummy got me up and got me dressed in some shorts since it was such a pretty day.  We played in the house and took a little walk outside too.  I had lunch, played a little more, then went down for nap #2.  I slept for 2 hours and forty minutes before Mummy finally got me up a little after 4!  I must have been making up for only having one nap (although it was a long one) yesterday!

After my nap we took a “drive” in my Pooh car to the park.  I love riding in my “car” and turning the steering wheel and looking around at everything.  I wasn’t too interested in the play ground equipment, but I love to push my car around.  Walking is the greatest!!  When we got home it was time for dinner.  I ate loads of marinated tofu (I like it marinated in lemon, olive oil, oregano and a little pinch of salt), adzuki beans, peaches and hummus on bread.  Hummus is definitely one of my favorite things!!

Here is a video of me playing with my rocking puppy:

After dinner I plated some more and kept chasing Nicholas around and giving him hugs.  Mummy and Daddy had to put Nicholas behind the gate again so I wouldn’t hurt his big boo boo on his tummy.  I felt bad and went and got my big, green ball and brought it over to him.  Finally I got tired and it was time for bed – hooray!!  I just love bedtime 🙂  I drank my whole bottle of milk and was off to sleep.

Here are a few photos of my day:

The Wildlife Experience

Last summer, Mummy and Daddy won tickets to The Wildlife Experience in Parker and planned to take me when I got older.  When they realized that the tickets expired on the 31st of this month they decided we should go down there this afternoon.  I took almost a three-hour nap after a fun gymnastics class and breakfast with Miss Laura and Miss Shelby so I was ready to go!  I was a swinging fool during class this morning and worked up a big appetite for blueberry pancakes after.

It was pretty cool and there was a lot to see.  It was hard to see everything from the stroller so I got an Ergo piggyback ride from Mummy.  It was great -I could see everything and it was fun being on Mummy’s back.  There were lots of animals and sounds along a quarter-mile trail.  We went through forest, desert, arctic, caves, and desert.    I got to do some walking but when I was on my feet all I wanted to do was push my stroller!  When then handle was on the lowest setting I could reach!

One of my favorite things was feeling the wet rocks near this tall waterfall.  I would have climbed right into the water if I could have!!  My other favorite part was this fish “pond.”  It was really just lights projected but it looked like a pool of fish and the fish would gather then swim away when you walked in the pool.  It was great!!

After we walked through the exhibit we went to the “Discovery Den.”  There were buttons to push, balls to throw and crayons to eat.  Mmmmmm, I sure love eating crayons!!  I made a few marks on the paper, but mostly had fun putting them in my mouth then giggling when Mummy took them back out.  I had a lot of fun at the “avalanche” exhibit too.  There were tons of “snowballs” that some older boys were loading up top.  After a while there would be an avalanche and all theballs would come rushing back down –  fun!!

Here are some photos from The Wildlife Experience:

Here I am playing with my very favorite toy from Nana Foo Foo:

I have discovered that if I put the frog toy from the video above in my mouth and breath in and out I sound like a duck!  This is my new favorite thing to do even if Mummy is worried that I will get the frog stuck in my mouth.

Look Daddy, TOUCHDOWN!!
